I had the opportunity to visit Boise for the very first time and guess who agreed to meet with me? Mrs. Idaho America, Lauralyn Salinas! All I can say is wow, what an amazing woman! She even placed top ten at nationals, which happened to be an accomplishment no Idaho woman has ever made in a married pageant and the best thing about it was that she competed modestly! Many of you know that I am a firm believer in modesty. I am a huge admirer of hers and was thrilled she took the time out of her busy life with 5 children to meet a stranger.
